Terms of Service
The terms for using Samlink — governed by Swedish law.
Last updated:
1. Acceptance of terms
By using Samlink you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are governed by Swedish law, and any disputes are resolved in Swedish courts with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.
2. Service description
Samlink is a cloud-based restaurant operating system (SaaS). We provide software tools including POS, kitchen display (KDS), digital menu designer, analytics, and staff management. The service is delivered as-is and features may change or be retired with reasonable notice.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share credentials with unauthorised parties. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact support@samlink.app immediately.
4. Payment and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are exclusive of VAT (25 % Swedish VAT applies to Swedish customers). We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days notice. No refunds for partially used billing periods. We reserve the right to suspend the service following a reminder if payment is not received.
5. Trial period
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required at signup. Trial data is handled per our privacy policy and is deleted 30 days after the trial expires if no subscription is taken. Samlink reserves the right to limit or terminate trials.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Samlink for illegal activities, to process fraudulent transactions, or to circumvent platform security. You may not use the service in a way that overloads our systems or interferes with other customers' use. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
7. Limitation of liability
Samlink is provided "as is" and without warranties beyond those required by mandatory Swedish law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profit. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. This limitation does not apply in the case of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days notice. We may terminate immediately for material breach. Upon termination your data is retained for 30 days and then deleted per our privacy policy — except transaction data, which is retained for 7 years per the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (Bokföringslagen 1999:1078).
